I'm not your everyday vocal coach.

Do you long to share your voice but feel afraid?
Think you're too old, too shy, or that singing just “isn’t for you”?
Maybe you're a seasoned musician who still battles stage fright—or someone who’s taken music lessons before and never felt truly met.

Wherever you’re starting from, I get it. I’ve been there.

For many of us, even speaking can feel vulnerable—let alone singing.

Early wounds, cultural conditioning, and ancestral trauma can wrap our voices in layers of fear, silence, and self-doubt.

This work is for the tender-hearted beginners, the closeted songbirds, the shaky performers, and the confident creatives who want a patient, playful, intuitive guide to grow their craft.

Together, we create a compassionate, trauma-informed space to explore the fears, judgments, and inner critics that have kept your voice small—and also to strengthen your skills, build confidence, and open to the joy of full expression.

This is more than vocal training. It’s a reclamation, one note at a time.

Sarah G, MFT

"Time with Lauren Arrow isn't just a 'singing lesson', it is true vocal awakening!! In fact, for me, it has been Soul awakening, remembering and reclaiming all the parts of me that make up my true Self, full power, and unique offering in the world! From the very first session, Lauren created a very clear, loving, and sacred container for us to work, and for my voice to finally feel the safety it needed to come out and sing. Whether playing sacred instruments, guiding me through mediations and visualizations, or interviewing the different parts of my voice, Lauren exhibited the perfect balance of fierce compassion and gentle, authentic listening. Through our work together, I have released the notion of having a 'pretty' or 'perfect' voice, and instead reclaimed MY voice…which is loud, dark, full of stories, my ancestors, and noises from the depths of places I didn't know existed; And I've only just begun…  I truly cannot wait to see what awaits me on this joyous, playful, and yet totally scary and raw journey of finding my voice. And I couldn't imagine having anyone other than Lauren be my guide!"

Vocal Mentorship Journey

I offer one-on-one vocal mentorship in a dedicated 4–5 month container, which includes 12 1-hour long sessions held either on Zoom or in person at my studio in Sebastopol, CA. We begin with a phone interview to explore your intentions, see if we’re a good fit, and clarify what you're hoping to unlock or transform through your voice.

This journey lives at the intersection of emotional alchemy, skill-building, and attunement to the creative source—where your voice becomes not just an instrument, but a channel for healing, connection, and self-reclamation.

Together, we might explore:

  • Exploring shame and fear around being heard

  • Weaving the super-ego into our creative process to let it be a passenger but not the driver

  • Strengthening vocal technique, confidence, and presence

  • Learning baritone ukulele or your instrument of choice

  • Developing rhythm and foundational music theory

  • Ear training, harmony, and deep listening

  • Writing original songs and receiving intuitive melodies

  • Collaborative play and improvisation

  • Creating rituals and daily practices to honor your voice

  • Connecting with your voice as a sacred tool for prayer, pleasure, and truth

Whether you're beginning your vocal journey or seeking to deepen your creative practice, this trauma-informed container offers a grounded, expansive space to reclaim your voice—both as a deeply personal expression and a powerful force in the world.

Melita, Performance Guidance

"Lauren is a skilled and sensitive coach and guide, who has obviously found her true calling with this work. I am a singer who has been actively performing for years, and Lauren was able to help me hone in on some very specific blocks that I have been working with. I would highly recommend her services no matter where you are in your journey around self expression."

I'm into it!
